NTSE Application form 2016-2017: The National Council of Educational Research and Training has recently released the official notification concerning the NTSE 2017 Application Form. The application submission for the NTSE 2016-2017 Registration Form will be started from 03rd August 2016 and the last date for applying varies from state to state. The NTSE Exam 2017 will be conducted all across the country, in all Indian states including Territories. The NTSE Stage-I Exam 2017 will be conducted on 05th, 06th and 13th November 2016 all across the country. After the successful conduction of NTSE 2017 Stage 1st Examination, the NTSE Stage-II Exam 2017 will be conducted on 14th May 2017.

The students who are studying in 10th class who have achieved minimum 60% marks in Class IXth can apply for the State Level National Talent Search Examination 2017 by submitting the application form in a offline mode till the state wise deadline.

NOTE: Candidates who want to apply for the NTSE 2017 Exam, they have to collect the NTSE 2017 Application Form from the State/ UT office, after that the application form should need to be duly filled as prescribed in the application process for NTSE 2017. The application should need to be duly signed by the Principal of their respecive School and then the NTSE Application Form 2017 need to be submitted to the respective State/ UT officer after the payment of the suggested application fee on or before the last date.

NTSE 2017 Application FormScholarship Details: The scholarship of Rs. 1250/- per month will be given to the candidates from class XI to XII. And Rs. 2000/- per month to Undergraduates and post graduates. And the amount of Scholarship for the PhD level will be fixed as per the norms of UGC.

NTSE Eligibility Criteria 2017 – The NTSE 2017 will be conducted into 02 phases: Phase-I and Phase-II. The eligibility criteria for both the stages of the NTSE 2017 Exam are different and are given below in detail. The students applying for the exam can check the eligibility criteria below for both the stages separately.

NTSE 2017 Reservation-Qualifying Marks

NTSE 2017 Stage-I Eligibility Criteria:

  • In NTSE 2017 Stage-I Examination only Indian students are allowed to appear.
  • The students of Class X are eligible for the test.
  • The Students should need to be studying in a recognized school.
  • Students of class 10th  must have obtained 60% marks in IXth class, in the last academic year.
  • The SC/ ST/ PH category candidates will be made available with 5% relaxation in class IXth score, i.e. 55%.
  • Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) can also apply for the examination, if they are not employed at the time of appearing for the 10th class exam and lying below the age of 18 years as on 01st July 2017.

NTSE 2017 Stage-II Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates who score 80% Marks in the NTSE Stage-I Examination, they will be considered for appearing in the NTSE Stage-II Examination that will be held on 14th May 2017 by NCERT at National level.
  • About 4000 students will be shortlisted all across the country for the National level NTSE.
  • All those students are eligible for the scholarship program who scores the minimum required marks at Stage-II Examination.

NTSE 2017 Exam Pattern: In both the exams, i.e. NTSE Phase-I and NTSE Phase-II, the exam will categorized into 03 different sections.

Paper-I: Metal Ability Test (MAT)

  • Total No. of Questions: 50
  • Total No. of Marks: 50
  • Total Time Duration: 45 Minutes

Paper-II: Language Test (LT) English/ Hindi

  • Total No. of Questions: 50
  • Total No. of Marks: 50
  • Total Time Duration: 45 Minutes

Paper-III: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

  • Total No. of Questions: 100
  • Total No. of Marks: 100
  • Total Time Duration: 90 Minutes

NTSE 2017 Exam Pattern

Negative Marking: The Negative Marking Will be there in each paper. For Each Wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted from the total marks of that particular question.

  • NTSE Application Form 2017 Submission Starting Date: 03rd August 2016
  • Last Date for NTSE 2017 Application Form Submission: Varies from State to State.
  • NTSE 2017 Phase-I Exam Date: 05th, 06th, and 13th November 2016
  • NTSE 2017 Phase-II Exam Date: 14th May 2017 (Sunday) at 36 centres only in India

How to Apply for NTSE 2017 Application Form, National Talent Search Exam 2017 Notification, NTSE 2017 Application Submission Started

The NCERT has started the Submission of the NTSE Application Form 2017 from 25th August 2016 and the last dates will be decided by the State/ UT authorities. The interested applicant can apply for the NTSE 2017 Application Form via the offline mode by following the district wise direct links given below for downloading the application form. After that, the completely filled application form need to be submitted to the State/ UT Liaison Officer of that particular state.

NTSE Application Form 2016-2017

NTSE Application Form are now available at official portal of NCERT ncert.nic.in from 13th August 2016. The eligible candidates are now be able to register themselves from the direct links given above. The applications for the NTSE 2017 Application Forms are invited in offline format till its last date in the prescribed application format. The examination will be conducted into two phases NTSE 2017 Stage-I Examination which will be held on 05th, 06th, and 13th November 2016. After then the NTSE 2017 Stage-II Examination will be conducted on 14th May 2017.
