Uttarakhand Elections Result 2017: We know Uttarakhand Elections 2017 announced and this time elections are constricted. The electorate of Uttarakhand implemented their franchise on February 15, 2017, for 69 constituencies and around 68% of voting recorded in Uttarakhand. The held took place in single phase i.e. only on one day. The duration of the current legislative assembly will end on March 15, 2017. BJP, Congress and as well as other political parties were extensively campaigned for their respective parties and did their best to win the votes of the state. Total 628 candidates were hunting for the 69 seats in the state. The Election Commission has made proper arrangements for the Election Day. Total 10,685 polling booths were set up in the Uttarakhand state.

First Legislative Assembly Elections held in 2002. In the first election of the state, 28 political parties participated nationally with 927 contestants. The total number of electors was 52, 70,375, out of which 54.34% given their votes. Since then, Uttarakhand has conducted regular elections for the Legislative Assembly. Last assembly elections held in 2012. Voting carried out with all 70 constituencies in the single day. In 2012, the Indian National Congress won 32 seats while the BJP won only 31.

Amongst the five states having polls early in 2017, Uttarakhand was the only one where the direct fight between the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) happened. According to the opinion poll the BJP got the majority of seats while the congress is less far to win the race.

THE WEEK Hansa poll clear predicts that a majority of the votes goes to the BJP i.e. 37 to 39 seat won by the BJP according to the opinion poll. The ruling party Congress got only 27 to 29 seats.

According to the different opinion pre-polls, BJP is all set to return as the main power in Uttarakhand to poll February 15 for its all 70 constituencies. India Today-Axis Opinion Poll provides BJP 41 to 46 seats while Congress got 18-23 seats. As per ABP News survey: BJP will win 35-43 assembly seats, while the Congress, win 22-30 seats. The ABP-CSDS Opinion Poll survey predicts that BJP will win 34-43 seats while Congress is getting only 22-30 seats. Accordingly Opinion Poll by VDP Associates, BJP will get 40 seats, and on the other side, Congress gets 24 seats. So it clearly shows that the BJP will come to the central government in the Uttarakhand state.

Issues of state

The unemployment and migration are the major issues of the state Uttarakhand. Also like lack of power and infrastructures issues i.e.  Roads. According to the statistics, more than 7 lakh people resides in the state, and  90 percent are educated in the state, but they all are unemployed. Moreover, this data only collected by the committee win which these people are in state’s employment exchange bureaus which means some unemployed candidates can more than this. Tourism is the only job source in the Uttarakhand state. Total 1,100 villages are found in this mountain state, and some of are empty, while still there are 664 communities in the Garhwal area in which there are the handful of residents.
